The application features a single slider that acts as a selector for the CIDR, netmask, and the number of hosts needed in a subnet network. The program emphasizes education by providing real-time updates of the network, broadcast, netmask, first and last address of the subnet, and the number of usable IPs in different formats such as dotted-decimal, hexadecimal, octal, decimal, binary, and decimal. The output updates in real-time as users change values and move the slider to adjust the netmask/mask bit. Touching the output will cycle through several different formats, while long presses will enable menus for copying to the clipboard.
